True/False Blitz - 1v1 True or False Snap Call Race

True/False Blitz on FlagDuel is a free 1v1 speed duel: statements flash one at a time - quick arithmetic such as 7x8=54 alongside population claims taken from real country data - and you slam one of two giant TRUE and FALSE zones, a wrong call locks your board for 0.7 seconds, and the first player to make 12 correct calls wins the round.

A statement appears. It is either true or it is not, and the screen is cut into two enormous zones so that saying which costs you nothing but the decision. 7x8=54. Slam FALSE. Next one.

Half of what flashes past is arithmetic you learned before you were ten, and the other half is population claims taken from real country data. That mixture is deliberate. One half is calculated and the other is estimated, and the constant flipping between the two is where the seconds quietly disappear.

A wrong call locks your board for 0.7 seconds, which is long enough to make hammering both zones a losing strategy and short enough that one mistake is not fatal. Twelve correct calls takes the round, and both players are handed exactly the same statements in the same order from the round seed.

How to play

Frequently asked questions

Which statements can I reject without doing the arithmetic?

Most of the wrong ones. A product of two whole numbers keeps the last digit of its parts, so 7x8 cannot end in a 4 and the claim is dead before you have worked out that the answer is 56. Odd times odd stays odd, anything times five ends in nought or five, and those three habits cover a lot of the board.

Is a quick wrong call worse than a slow correct one?

Yes, and it is not close. A wrong call costs you the 0.7 second lock plus the statement you threw away, while thinking for an extra third of a second costs you a third of a second. In a race to twelve, one panicked slam is worth about three careful reads.

Why are sums and country facts mixed together?

Because they are answered by different machinery. A sum is calculated and a population claim is estimated against a feeling for how big a country is, so the board keeps forcing you between two modes of thinking. That switch, not the difficulty of either half, is what separates two fast players.

Why are the two answer zones so large?

So that aiming never enters into it. The zones are big enough to hit without looking, which strips the duel back to reading and deciding - the moment your finger has to hunt for a small button, the game starts measuring your mouse instead of your judgement.
