How to play

How is Flag Quiz different from Find the Flag?
Find the Flag is a visual search - twelve flags, spot one. Flag Quiz is recall - four candidates, and the test is whether you KNOW which flag belongs to the named country. Search speed wins one, knowledge wins the other.
Are the four wrong flags chosen to confuse?
The distractors are drawn from the same world pool, so tricolours face tricolours often enough to keep guessing risky. A wrong tap locks your side while your opponent answers on.
How many countries can come up?
The quiz draws from over a hundred countries - the same hand-drawn flag set the arena flies in its duels - weighted so that both familiar giants and less-known flags appear.
What is the fastest way to get better at flags?
Lose a few duels and note which flags beat you. Recall built from being burned in a live match sticks far better than passively scrolling a flag list - the next time Ivory Coast appears, you will remember who cost you a round.
