Balloon Nerve - 1v1 Pump and Bank Duel
Balloon Nerve on FlagDuel is a free 1v1 nerve duel: every PUMP adds one pending point to a balloon that hides the same burst point for you and your live opponent, BANK locks your pending points into your score, a burst wipes whatever is still pending, and the first player to bank 25 wins the round.
How to play
- Press START - you and a live opponent are handed the first balloon, both hiding the same burst point.
- Press PUMP to add a pending point and BANK to lock your pending points into your score. One pump too many bursts the balloon and everything pending goes with it.
- First player to bank 25 points takes the round. Win 2 of 3 rounds to take the match.

SoonFrequently asked questions
What does BANK actually do?
It moves the points you have pumped into the current balloon out of danger and into your score, then hands you a fresh balloon. Anything banked is yours for the rest of the round - a burst can only take what is still pending.
How much do I lose when a balloon bursts?
Only the pending points from that one balloon. Your banked total is untouched, so a burst costs you the pumps you got greedy with plus the seconds you spent making them.
Can I tell how close a balloon is to bursting?
There is no meter and no warning - the burst point stays hidden until it happens. The only thing you can count is how many pumps you have already put in, which is why the duel comes down to deciding when you have enough.
Is it better to bank small and often or hold for a big balloon?
Banking small is safe and slow: twenty-five points arrive one timid balloon at a time while a rival stacks them faster. The round usually turns on a single balloon that somebody pushed further than felt comfortable - and banked.
